About me
John Bishop is an Emeritus Professor in Philosophy at the University of Auckland, having taught there from 1981 until his retirement in 2021. His main research interests are in the philosophy of religion and the philosophy of action. A recent publication, co-authored with Ken Perszyk, is Religious Naturalism, (CUP 2025) in the series Elements in Global Philosophy of Religion, series editor, Yujin Nagasawa (open access).
