About me
Hi, I’m Jolly! My primary research concerns the nature of pleasure. I’m currently working on defending a commonsensical view of pleasure’s nature, phenomenological theories of pleasure, according to which pleasure is essentially a feeling. I’ll be presenting this research project in person, on Wednesday, 8th July, 3-3.55pm at MSB1.05.
More broadly, I’m interested in philosophy of mind (vividness, introspection, emotions, and moods) and moral philosophy, where I’ve previously defended meta-ethical hedonic naturalism, and I’m currently investigating normative scalar consequentialism and the notion of moral worth.
If any of this overlaps with your work, feel free to approach me anytime during the conference! (P.s. I’ll be attending in person only from Tuesday (7th July) onwards so do reach out then!)
