About me
I’m Programme Chair & Academic Lead at Manukau Institute of Technology, specialising in software engineering, data analytics, AI, and interdisciplinary programme design. I’ve led the development of multiple NZQA-accredited programmes and supervise capstone and work-based learning projects at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. My work focuses on integrating technology, education, and wellbeing—particularly through embedding Te Ao Māori perspectives and supporting diverse learners in South Auckland. I’m also interested in artificial intelligence, including decolonising AI and using AI to explore worldview and ancient texts. People often connect with me about curriculum design, AI in education, programme development, or supporting student success. I also have a creative background in film production and game-related media, and I occasionally draw on that in my teaching and research.
